E.N. Akhmadeyeva, A.Ya. Valiulina, N.N. Kryvkina

Abstract. The aim of research was the estimation of psychomotor development and health indices of premature infants, gone through neonatal reanimation because of grave condition. During postnatal development the health of premature infants was appraised at their physical, somatic and psychomotor progress. The preterm born, gone through neonatal resuscitation and/or intensive therapy, have different results during postnatal development, they are: limited opportunities of cerebral pathology — 39,7% minimum cerebral disfunction — 47,5% and 12,8% children have no pathology. They also have the peculiarities of health, characterized by low estimation of physical development and large frequency of somatic pathology, mainly on the side of respiratory organs.

Key words: premature infant, neonatal resuscitation, catamnesis research.

E.N. Akhmadeyeva, F.M. Latypova

Abstract. The aim was to study the psychomotor development of children with esophageal atresia, who received surgical treatment in the early neonatal period. The study included 35 children with esophageal atresia. To assess psychomotor development was used the CAT/CLAMS scale. This method allows to evaluate the skills of the decision of visual (section CAT) and linguistic (section CLAMS) tasks, as well as the development of the child’s motility (scale GM). The results revealed a speech development delay to the 3rd year of the life in a considerable part of children (60,0%). The lag in this line of development was most prevalent in children with short term of gestation, the delay of the intrauterine development and postnatal nutritional disorders. In the first 3 years of life the motor and cognitive development of children corresponds to normal levels.

Key words: esophageal atresia, the CAT/CLAМS scale, psychomotor development.

PDF downloadThe comparative characteristics of health premature infants depending on theirs birth weight

N.N. Kryvkina, E.N. Akhmadeeva, A.Yа. Valyulina

Abstract. The purpose of our study was to characterize health of premature infants. Under our observation were 519 children. We are divided them into 3 groups. In the first group were 44 preterm birth with extremely low birth weight. In the second — 142 premature with very low birth weight. And in the last one — 333 children with low birth weight. It was revealed that outcomes of perinatal pathologies during first year of life were variables. It occur such healthy children as invalid infants. Factors, which may cause severe pathology, were not only the fact of preterm born, but also the compromised obstetric-gynecologic history of mothers in 100% of cases.

Key words: premature infants, extremely low birth weight, obstetric-gynecologic history.

PDF downloadThe problems and perspectives of successful resuscitation and rehabilitation children born with low and extremely low birth weight

A.Yа. Valiulina, E.N. Akhmadeyeva, N.N. Kryvkina

Abstract. Preterm birth with low and extremely low birth weight has been defined as one of the major public health problems of this decade. After the course of resuscitation and intensive therapy in the newborn period, children get into high risk group of developing different serious chronic pathologies such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia, leucomalacia, neurodevelopmental disabilities, retinopathiya and others. It is necessary to perform catamnestic analysis for the purpose of studying remote consequences of resuscitation and increase quality of rendering qualified specialized medical aid to newborn with low and extremely low birth weight and early age children.

Key words: preterm birth, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, extremely low birth weight.

PDF downloadThe role of the intestinal microbiota and probiotics in pediatrics

C.KH. Lifshits

Abstract. The fecal flora of the newborn infant begins to develop soon after birth. The speed at which this development occurs and the type of bacteria that will predominate is thought to be related to several factors such as the mode of delivery (vaginal vs. cesarean section (CS), place of delivery (home versus hospital) and type of feeding (breastmilk versus formula). The fecal flora of babies delivered by CS is quite different than that of vaginally delivered babies. Increasingly, epidemiologic and clinical data support the hypothesis that perturbations in the gastrointestinal microbiota disrupt the normal microbiota-mediated mechanisms of immunological tolerance in the intestinal mucosa, leading to an increase in the incidence of allergies, in particular, allergic airway disease and other ailments, including type I diabetes and overweight. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria to the host and multiple studies have demonstrated the benefits of many of them. In children such effects include prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis, treatment of infantile colic, decreased duration of acute gastroenteritis, decreased incidence of acute diarrhea and of antibiotic associated diarrhea, and prevention of manifestations of allergy. In addition, administration of probiotics may be a way to overcome the problems caused by an abnormal development of the fecal flora.

Key words: Microbiota, Probiotics, Children, Necrotizing enterocolitis, Allergy, Colic.

PDF downloadRisk factors of neonatal ischemic stroke

L.K. Karimova, D.D. Gajnetdinova

Abstract. Neonatal isсhemic stroke is increasingly recognized as an important cause of neurological morbidity in children, but etiology remains unclear although a variety of maternal and fetal risk factors have been identified. Genetic disorders, prothrombotic disorders, increased level of lipoprotein A, anticardiolipin antibodies and other are reported risk factors neonatal isсhemic stroke in term infants. The presence of multiple risk factors increases the odds of developing neonatal stroke. Prognostic models and preventive measures are not designed. Larger cohort studies are required to elucidate further the aetiologies and the multifactorial pathway to neonatal isсhemic stroke.

Key words: neonatal isсhemic stroke, risk factors, pathogenesis, prothrombotic disorders.

PDF downloadThe impact of low birth weight to the subsequent risk of cardiovascular diseases

I.Ya. Lutfullin, A.I. Safina, Z.R. Sadykova

Abstract. The paper is devoted to the basic clinical and pathophysiological aspects of the impact of the deficit of body weight at birth (as a result of prematurity or intrauterine growth retardation) on the risk of subsequent cardiovascular pathology. The current research in this field have identified an association between a typical perinatal diseases of premature infants (transient myocardial ischemia, persistent fetal circulation and others) and subsequent violations of the structure of the heart, the rhythm of the heart and the regulation of the level of blood pressure. The impact of perinatal factors has a global impact on all subsequent risks of cardiovascular diseases, including the risks of infractions and strokes in middle-aged man. Probably, such a «perinatal imprinting» is determined by an irreversible structural and functional alterations in cellular and organ level.

Key words: preterm newborns, cardiovascular system, cardiovascular pathology.

Abstract. It is noted in the article that in the Republic of Tatarstan positive dynamics of demographic parameters is being observed an increase in birth rate and a decrease in death-rate, development of the pharmaceutical market, increase in the number and the sum of the filled prescriptions. There happened an increase in volumes of financing the branch of public health service, as well as the system of providing the population entitled to benefits with medicines. However there are the prescriptions being in deferred service, i.e. the medicine has not been received by the patient in proper time. It is also stated that the number of written appeals of the population to the republican Ministry of Health has increased by 15% and to the hot line — by 18%. These facts point out that there are unsolved problems in providing medicines for the population entitled to benefits.
